These are confidence and team building experiences that get us out into the countryside and learning how to work together in a safe environment. Activities include: Canoeing for women, men, boys, girls, father and sons, teams. Rock climbing for boys and girls Abseiling for boys and girls Weaselling for boys and girls Tall ship sailing for men, boys and girls Countryside walks for all generations and both genders

Cultural Activities
We are growing our cultural visits to include trips to the theatre, concerts and performances in Derby and further afield. We recently organised a number visit to the House of Commons and Westminster Abbey in London - and have even travelled to the European Parliament in Brussels!
Educational Visits
We have run a whole series of visits for young girls to Universities, Hospitals, and Laboratories to encourage them into further Education or into Allied Health careers. We are strong links with Education providers and Industry within Derby and the East Midlands and have are developing a broad programme of Educational Visits.
Visits to City Institutions
A selection of our visits are focused around British Citizenship and include Derby City Council, the Magistrates Court, the Chamber of Commerce, the Coroner’s Office. We also have regular visits to our local services including the Police and Fire Brigade, along with the Libraries and Museums.
Visits to Heritage Sites
Derbyshire has a wealth of Heritage sites including Chatsworth House, Kedleston Hall, Sudbury Museum for Childhood and Calke Castle. In our visits to these sites we can find out more about British History and different cultural approaches and attitudes. It has fascinating results!
