DAF ESOL in Sinfin

This is a project funded by Jobcentre Plus under the Deprived Area Fund (DAF).  The project provides a 13 week ESOL provision specifically designed to increase individuals’ chances of obtaining employment, to compete effectively in the job market and to instil self-belief.  

The two main aims of the project are:-

•    To enable individuals to participate in ESOL sessions aimed at improving employability  prospects

•    To target service user groups who are unemployed, who are not speakers of English as their first language and who reside in the Sinfin ward.

The project will offer many benefits to the individuals which will include:-

The project takes place over a 13 week period and it will run from January 2008 to March 2008.
